Size guide
Two ladders, four sizes each. Portrait prints are 2:3, landscape prints are 3:2, and nothing is cropped to move between them. Pick the size from the furniture, not from the wall.
The two ladders
Each print is made in one orientation and offered in that ladder only. A landscape photograph is never squeezed into a portrait frame to fill out a size chart.
- Portrait: 30x45, 40x60, 50x75, 60x90 cm
- Landscape: 45x30, 60x40, 75x50, 90x60 cm
Sizing from the furniture
- Above a sofa or a bed: about two-thirds the width of the furniture. For a 220cm sofa that is 60x90.
- Above a sideboard or a console: 50x75 portrait, or 75x50 landscape.
- In a hallway or beside a door: 40x60. Anything larger crowds a narrow space.
- In a gallery run of three or more: 30x45, all the same size.
Height
Centre of the print at 145cm from the floor. Over furniture, leave 15–20cm between the top of the furniture and the bottom of the frame.
Before you order
Mark the size out on the wall with painter’s tape and leave it up for a day. It costs nothing and it settles the argument. If it still isn’t right when it arrives, you have 30 days.
