Questions
The ones that come up most. Anything else, email us and a person answers.
What is the print actually made of?
250gsm matte fine art paper, acid-free and FSC certified, printed with 12-colour pigment inks. Pigment rather than dye is the part that matters — it is what keeps the colour for a century instead of a decade.
Will it fade?
Not in any normal room. The inks are rated 100+ years without fading under indoor light. Direct midday sun on any print, from anyone, will shorten that.
Why can I not get a landscape print in 30x45?
Because it would mean cutting the image. A landscape photograph in a portrait frame loses a third of the frame, and it is always the third that made the picture work. Landscape prints run 45x30 up to 90x60 instead.
How long does delivery take?
Prints are made to order: 2–3 working days in production, then 2–4 days to the Netherlands and Belgium and 4–8 days elsewhere in the EU. You get a tracking link when it leaves the printer.
How does it arrive?
Unframed prints are rolled in a rigid kraft tube. Framed prints, canvas and acrylic ship flat, corner-protected, in a double-wall box.
Can I return it?
30 days, for any reason, including that it looked different on the wall than on the screen. See shipping & returns for how.
Do you do custom sizes?
For trade orders, yes — larger formats and non-standard ratios. Tell us about the space on the trade page.
Do you ship outside the EU?
Not yet. Everything is printed in Europe and shipped inside it, which is what keeps delivery to days.
